# Medicare 2026 Cheat Sheet

## 2026 Medicare Quick Reference

### Part A Costs (2026 Estimates)

-   **Premium:** $0 for most people
-   **Deductible:** $1,736 per benefit period
-   **Days 1-60:** $0 copay after deductible
-   **Days 61-90:** $434/day copay

### Part B Costs (2026 Estimates)

-   **Premium:** $202.90/month (standard)
-   **Deductible:** $283 per year
-   **Coinsurance:** 20% for most services
-   **IRMAA:** Additional premium if income > $106,000 (single)

### Important Enrollment Periods

-   **Initial Enrollment Period:** 3 months before, birthday month, 3 months after turning 65
-   **Annual Enrollment Period (AEP):** Oct 15 – Dec 7
-   **Open Enrollment Period:** Jan 1 – Mar 31 (MA plans only)
